Optimist Junior Golf 2012

Our District Junior Golf Qualifying Tournament for 2012 will be held on Saturday,

June 23, 2012 at Caledon Country Club, Inglewood, Ontario.

Deadline for submission of paid registrations for the District Tournament

is June 15, 2012. Please schedule your local club tournament to be held

prior to June 15^th.  The cost for registration is $75.00 per golfer which includes greens fees, lunch and prizes. The first tee time will be 12:00 noon.

The age groups are 10-11, 12-13, 14-15, and 16-18 years for boys, and 10-12, 13-14, and 15-18 for girls. The Optimist International Junior Golf Championships will be held at PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The dates for the International tournament are July 19-24 for 9-15 year olds, and July 24- July 29, 2012 for 16-18 year olds boys and 15-18 year olds girls.

It is our objective to send two finalists from our District Tournament to Florida.

To meet this objective, we require your financial support. Each club that donates $200 or more to the District Tournament will receive an exclusive Hole Sponsorship at the District Tourney. The name of your club will be prominently displayed at the tees.
