Deaf
students competing in the regional Communication Contest for the Deaf and
Hard of Hearing competition for those who will speak will be on Sunday April
25, 2010 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The
competition is being held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 375 hall at 233 Centre Street East, Richmond
Hill, Ontario. No lunch
will be provided but a snack and drink will be available during the
afternoon. This is being The Optimist
International Foundation annually funds a $2,500.00 scholarship for each
Optimist International District. Many Districts donate other awards in order
to provide the second scholarship. Donations towards the contest prizes and
bursaries are welcome. Please
